Our privacy officer is Jon Stuart. You can contact Jon at support@taskarchitect.com to find out what information we have about you, and to check or correct that information. This is a simple description of our privacy policy.

When you make a purchase from us, we will collect and store the contact information you give us on secure computers in a secure room with intruder alarms.

This information is collected for the following purposes:

• So that a software key can be generated that is personalized for your use,
• So that you can be sent an appropriate key by email,
• So that we can update your software key if you purchase the product,
• So that we can provide you with details of updates to the product,
• So that we may contact you to understand the usefulness of the software to you after your 30-day trail has ended,
• So that the duration of the trial is limited to only one 30-day download.

Any credit card information we receive will never be stored on any of our computers; only paper records will be kept, in locked cabinets in secure, alarmed rooms. Note that in the case of purchases made through PayPal, we will never know your credit card information at all, since these transactions are handled by PayPal.

We will never sell or give your contact details to any other company or any individual outside our company, for any reason, unless we are legally required to do so.

We are required by Revenue Canada to retain information relating to sales for a period of seven years. At the end of seven years after your last purchase, all data that we hold relating to you will be destroyed.

If you register for our software and do not explicitly instruct us not to send you email (contact support@taskarchitect.com) we will occasionally send email to you regarding updates and new versions. You may request that we stop sending email at any time.
