Task Architect, Inc. was founded and is to this day managed by human factors professionals. Frustrated by a lack of tools to efficiently complete task analysis projects, the founders felt there had to be a better way. After researching current software solutions, they found that there was no single product that met the needs of task analysts.

TaskArchitect understands the task analysis continuum and takes a systematic approach to the process. We’ve reviewed the range of activities undertaken—from data collection to presentation of results, from simple analysis to complex modeling and simulation.

While there are sophisticated tools on the market that address modeling and simulation, the applications currently used to manage the collection, organization and analysis of data are either not intended for task analysis or are academic and not commercially supported.

TaskArchitect delivers a complete solution for the majority of task analysis activities — stages 1-3 of the continuum—and can be integrated with other tools used to complete stages 4-5.

TaskArchitect is the leading tool commercially available today that is designed specifically for task analysis. It is built on a solid foundation of understanding how to gain efficiencies and simplify the work required to carry out a task analysis.
